The Center Diagram gives an overview of the Center, its administration,
and collaborators. The Center focuses on three research programs: a
Vision Research Program, an Environment and Behavior Research Program,
and a Physical Performance and Function Research Program; and on projects
that highlight the interaction among these research areas. In the center
of the diagram are three overlapping circles representing these research
areas.

There are two concentric circles that surround these overlapping circles.
The inner concentric circle is called Research Resource Cores which
are clinical rehabilitation, health services, psychosocial, and rehabilitation
engineering.
The outer concentric circle is called administration and includes the
support staff, external advisory group, research service, and the director
and associate director. The external advisory group provides input to
the Center's activities and includes local, national, and consumer advisory
groups. The local advisory group is composed of individuals from local
universities including Georgia State University, Georgia Institute of
Technology, Emory University. The national advisory group includes individuals
from the Sunnybrook Center, the Polisher Research Institute, the National
Science Foundation, the University of Kansas Medical Center, and the
