Extremity Constraint Induced Therapy Evaluation (EXCITE)

This national randomized clinical trial includes seven sites that provide constraint induced movement therapy to patients 3-9 months post stroke compared to patients receiving usual and customary care. All evaluations are performed in blinded fashion and patients are randomized into an immediate or delayed treatment group and stratified by degree of impairment.
