Monica is the lab manager for the Molecular Biology Core at the Atlanta VA CVNR as well as the lab manager for Dr. Boatright and Dr. Pardue. She received her BS in Chemistry from the University of Alabama and her MS in Biotechnology and MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Previously Monica worked for HHMI at Johns Hopkins University as a Lab Manager for the Biopolymer Core and Dr. Huganir’s lab in the Department of Neuroscience

  • Graded Intensity Aerobic Exercise to Improve Cerebrovascular Function and Performance in Aged Veterans (GRIT)
  • Aerobic Exercise and Cognitive Training in Older Adults (Nocera CDA2/AMD pilot)
  • Acute Exercise Effects on Word Learning in Aging and Stroke-induced Aphasia
